Joe Pass was an American jazz guitarist known for his virtuosic technique, elegant improvisation. He was considered one of the greatest jazz guitarists of all time. He recorded over 30 albums, many of them solo guitar albums. Pass was known for his bebop soloing skills and unaccompanied guitar playing. He died in 1994 at the age of 65, but his music continues to inspire guitarists around the world.
