Chet Atkins was an American musician and record producer, known for his fingerstyle guitar technique and his contributions to the Country and Western music style. He recorded many albums, both as a solo artist and as a session musician. He was also a record producer and received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career, including 14 Grammy awards and the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1973.
