He was one of the most recorded jazz guitarists of all time, known for his improvisation and chord melody skills. He was also a sought-after session musician, playing on countless recordings by other artists throughout his career. He was a member of the famous “Wrecking Crew” a group of Los Angeles-based session musicians who worked with many famous artists during the 1960s.
