Ernest Ranglin

Barney Kessel was an American jazz guitarist known for his virtuosic technique, versatility, and his ability to play in a wide range of styles. He was one of the most recorded jazz guitarists of all time, known for his improvisation skills and chord melody skills. He was also a sought-after session musician, playing on countless recordings by other artists throughout his career. He was a member of the famous “Wrecking Crew” a group of Los Angeles-based session musicians who worked with many famous artists during the 1960s. He passed away in 2004 at the age of 80.
