Tal Farlow

Tal Farlow was an American jazz guitarist. He was born on June 7, 1921 in Greensboro, North Carolina and began playing guitar at the age of 16. Farlow was known for his bebop soloing skills and his ability to create complex and harmonically rich solos. He rose to prominence in the 1950s and played with many prominent jazz musicians, including Stan Getz and Red Norvo. Farlow’s unique approach to the guitar influenced generations of jazz guitarists and he continues to be remembered as one of the greatest jazz guitarists of all time.
